Mission

Make trade-offs visible, not hidden

Every allocation decision is a trade-off between growth potential and volatility. Most financial content glosses over that trade-off in favor of a single confident number. We do the opposite: our tools always show a range, a horizon, and the assumption behind the figure.

We built AssetGrowth for people who want to understand portfolio construction well enough to have an informed conversation with a licensed professional — not to replace one.

Methodology

How our models are built

Asset class assumptions

Each model portfolio uses a fixed, documented expected-return assumption per asset class. These are planning estimates, not forecasts, and are visible throughout the site rather than buried in fine print.

Risk scoring

Risk scores reflect the relative equity-to-defensive-asset tilt of a model, positioned on a 0–100 spectrum. They are a simplification meant to aid comparison, not a statistical risk measure.

Clear labeling

Every research note is tagged as historical review, current outlook, or long-run projection, so it's always clear whether you're looking at the past, the present, or an assumption about the future.
